Wood Color Block is a block puzzle game that features elements from the parking lot subcategory of sorting games. The player must remove all blocks from dark brown grids on wooden boards across levels before they run out of time.
Each level features a mix of blocks that have different colors, icons and shapes. The player must slide the blocks into positions that align with color- and icon-matched gates. When a block rests adjacent to a matching gate, the latter shreds it.
The player must beat the top-center timer. When they complete a level, they receive a base amount of coin winnings in the upper-right coin bank. They can earn more with a rainbow multiplier and ad view.
Wood Color Block makes play difficult in a wide range of ways. For example, it limits the amount of unused space on a grid to force the player to move blocks via different strategies. If the player doesn't take the space into account, they might run out of moves. Additionally, the game places frosted white arrows on some blocks that limit the directions the player can slide the pieces.
Of course, as with similar games, this one offers boosters that include a stopwatch, a star wand and a hammer. It also allows the player to skip a level when they view an advertisement.
